TALES OF THE TRADE
Ages 16-29
Winter 2020, JHU-MICA Film Center

In this short, intensive production and videography workshop, fellows will contribute to the BYFA series Tales of the Trade.  A collection of interviews, Tales focuses on successful Baltimore filmmakers and photographers, exploring their practices, influences, and career paths; what inspired them, what has sustained them, challenges they’ve faced along the way. Fellows will learn videography, including lighting, sound recording, and editing; and correct interview protocols.  Interviews will be edited and shared on the BYFA website and at a public screening.  Fellows must be present and on time for all meetings.  Limited to 12 student fellows.
